The Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research’s (MICHR) Outreach, Partnerships, & Implementation Science (OPIS) program presents its 5th Annual Community Engagement Symposium. We invite you to attend this exciting day of educational and relationship building opportunities. This year’s event will include a poster session, keynote address, networking lunch, and workshops on:

  • Culturally-tailored, community-based recruitment
  • Community leadership in research
  • Proposal writing and local funding opportunities
  • Dissemination and translation for diverse audiences
  • Strategies for building effective partnerships

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.


U-M North Campus Research Complex, Building 18. Driving directions and parking information. Free parking vouchers available for registered participants.


Academic faculty, researchers, students, and staff. Members and leaders of community-based non-profits, governmental organizations, and others interested in community-based research.


This event is FREE and open to the public with registration. Please register by March 11.
