THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIPS: Improving Research and Health Outcomes
The Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research’s (MICHR) Outreach, Partnerships, & Implementation Science (OPIS) program presents its 5th Annual Community Engagement Symposium. We invite you to attend this exciting day of educational and relationship building opportunities. This year’s event will include a poster session, keynote address, networking lunch, and workshops on:
- Culturally-tailored, community-based recruitment
- Community leadership in research
- Proposal writing and local funding opportunities
- Dissemination and translation for diverse audiences
- Strategies for building effective partnerships

Tuesday, March 19, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Where:
U-M North Campus Research Complex, Building 18. Driving directions and parking information. Free parking vouchers available for registered participants.
Who:
Academic faculty, researchers, students, and staff. Members and leaders of community-based non-profits, governmental organizations, and others interested in community-based research.

This event is FREE and open to the public with registration. Please register by March 11.
