We are pleased to be a part of the MICHR Community Engagement Conference on Tuesday, March 19. PRC-MI students, staff and faculty will be well represented throughout the conference.
We will be presenting the following posters about HOPE, Speak To Your Health! and the Buenos Vecinos Project:
- Alexandra Turner, MPH Candidate; Brittnee Hawkins, MPH Candidate- A CBPR approach to using social media to engage African American young adults in an online intervention to prevent HIV and STIs
- Ashley Garrity, MPH Candidate – Dissemination of a community-based survey to improve community health outcomes.
- Dr. Daniel Kruger – Community leadership and participation enhances outcomes in the Encuesta Buenos Vecinos project.
In addition, Marc Zimmerman will be making opening and closing remarks. PRC and MI-YVPC will also be there to answer questions and share our resources materials at the exhibit tables.
