Speak To Your Health! Community Survey Data Community Presentation


The public unveiling of the results of the 2013 Speak To Your Health! Community Survey will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Kiva at the University of Michigan-Flint.

The Kiva is located in the Harding Mott University Center on campus. Guests are asked to arrive at 3:30 p.m. as the program will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. Representatives and experts from the partner agencies that conducted the survey will be available for interviews by media reports prior to and after the presentation.

Survey results to be highlighted during the presentation include:

  • Physical Activity
  • Diabetes
  •  Mental Health
  • Sexual Health
  • Neighborhood Conditions
  • Discrimination
  • Social Capital

The Speak To Your Health! Community Survey team will be joining forces with the Genesee Intermediate School District to support MiPHY, an online student survey available every other year to all Michigan schools with grades 7, 9 and 11. The Speak Survey provides adult survey information and the MiPHY will provide student information for Genesee County residents providing a better picture of the health and health behaviors of our residents.
